"I do not mean to suggest that our handsome, newly enlarged library is to be a headquarters of busy bookworms, old and young, routinely absorbing knowledge by the hour while birds sing outside and the Mets fight it out for last place in the National League. On the contrary, a good library is a joyful place where the imagination roams free, and life is actively enriched."
—John K. Hutchens

July 30 Moxie Strings Concert!
5:30-The Moxie Strings is the electrifying combination of fiddler, electric cellist & drummer playing feel-good melodies and foot-stomping, rock-influenced rhythms, putting a fresh, enticing spin on Celtic and Americana music. The ensemble calls on Bluegrass, Celtic, Canadian, Rock, Jazz and Old Time influences to create their unique, American hybrid that exemplifies the United State’s identity as a melting pot of traditions. This program is generously funded by "The Alexa Luck Memorial Fund of the Roscommon County Community Foundation" and the Friends of the Library.
